To reach Chin State, you can take a car journey from Bagan via Chauk and Saw Towns.
The weather in Chin State exhibits significant variations. Generally, the green season spans from July to September, while the winter season lasts from October to February. Nighttime temperatures can drop to zero degrees in the mountainous areas and range around 5°C in Kanpetlet and Mindat.

Meet and greet at your hotel, and get ready to begin an exhilarating journey to Mindat. Brace yourself for an unforgettable road trip as you traverse rocky and bumpy terrains on our way to this charming town.
Immerse yourself in the picturesque landscapes adorned with sprawling crops, plantations and meadows, where you’ll witness the enchanting sight of cattle gracefully galloping through the fields. Capture incredible photos and interact with the friendly local villagers, who will warmly welcome you into their community.
As you arrive in Mindat, perched at an impressive elevation of 4,860 feet above sea level, transfer to a traditional-style resort for a restful overnight stay. Prepare to be captivated by the unique charm of Mindat!

Day 02: Mindat – Kanpetlet (B)
Awaken to a new day filled with cultural wonders! Start by visiting a vibrant Chin village and exploring its bustling market. Be prepared to encounter locals adorned in traditional costumes, and keep an eye out for the renowned tattooed-face women, puffing away at their pipes, creating an intriguing sight that embodies the rich heritage of the region.
Afterward, delve into the heart of Mindat, where you’ll have the opportunity to discover the city center and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the local market. Your journey continues to Kanpetlet, an approximately 2-hour and 30-minute drive, where you’ll spend a delightful evening and overnight.

Day 03: Kanpetlet – Mount Victoria – Kanpetlet (B)
After breakfast, set off to explore small Chin villages nestled around the town of Kanpetlet. Get ready to encounter a fascinating array of tribes, including Ngara, Yin Du, Dai, Okpu, Magan, and Mwyn, each with its unique dialects, costumes, and mesmerizing face tattoos that depict intricate patterns such as dots, spiders, lines, curls, and plain black.
The leisurely walks to each village, lasting about 1 to 1 ½ hours, will unveil the captivating lives and customs of the Chins. As predominantly Christian communities with diverse beliefs ranging from Methodists to Catholics, their villages are adorned with distinctive buffalo horns, adding a touch of rustic charm to the landscape.
Prepare to conquer Mount Victoria as you embark on a 3-hour climb to its majestic summit. The awe-inspiring panoramic views will reward your efforts, offering a truly unforgettable experience. Afterward, descend to the 10-mile camp and return to your resort for a restful overnight stay in Kanpetlet
